Daisy Troop 1480 visited the Garden City Bird Sanctuary on April 25th
Daisy Troop 1480 visited the Garden City Bird Sanctuary onApril 25th. The girls performed service work for the bird sanctuary by planting parsley seeds. Parsley benefits wildlife because it is a host plant for Eastern Black Swallowtail caterpillars; therefore it is a good choice for planting in a bird sanctuary. After their gardening was completed, the girls enjoyed a snack and ended their visit with a parachute game.
